Ingredients:

1 lb of large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 package of gnocchi

3/4 cup of parmesan cheese, shredded or grated

1 tbsp of garlic

3 slices of bacon

1/2 cup of heavy cream

1 cup of reserved pasta water, optional

2 tbsp of Butter

Olive oil

Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper

Directions:

Cook gnocchi according to the package in salted water. Set aside when done and keep about a cup of the pasta water. Over medium-low heat, cook bacon. Once cooked, take bacon out the pan and add a little olive oil, along with the shrimp and garlic. Cook until the shrimp are pink. Take the shrimp out the pan and turn the stove to low heat. Add the butter, cream, 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water, and parmesan cheese to the pan, whisking until the cheese is melted. If it gets too thick, you can add any remaining pasta water you have. The sauce will thicken as it cools. Take the sauce off the heat. Season with salt, pepper, and italian seasoning, if desired. Add the gnocchi and shrimp to the sauce and mix. Crumble the cooked bacon over the pasta. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
