dry rubbed chicken wings

ingredients:
4lbs of chicken wingettes (about 20 wings)
2 tbsps of oil
1/2 tbsp of ancho chile pepper
1 tbsp of smoked paprika
1/2 tbsp of onion powder
1/2 tbsp of salt
1 tbsp of brown sugar
1/2 tsp of chili powder
1/2 tsp of cumin
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp of mustard powder
1/4 tsp of pepper
supplies:
baking sheets
oven safe wire racks
aluminum foil
cooking spray
2 mixing bowls
tongs
directions:
preheat your oven to 400 degrees. line your baking sheets with aluminum foil and top with oven safe wire racks. spray the racks with non-stick cooking spray and set aside. in a mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings and oil. in another bowl, combine all the ingredients for the dry rub. add the dry rub to the bowl with the chicken wings and toss. use your hands to rub the mixture in as well. lay the chicken wings on the on the wire racks, slightly spaced out. bake for 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and tender. let cool for about 5 minutes before serving. enjoy!
